Michael Turner, Jamie's favorite artist and inspiration, passed away last night at the age of 37 after a long battle with a type of bone cancer. Michael Turner was the brilliant artist behind Aspen, Fathom, Kiani, Witchblade, Soulfire and many more titles. He drew beautifully with a style of his own. His artwork was most often coloured by Peter Steigerwald who can only be described as a magician when it comes to painting panels.Last night Jamie lost a mentor he never had a chance to meet, an inspiration for his artwork and the reason why he started drawing again after a hiatus of over 10 years.
